Kelsey KeightleyOffice Coordinator

Kelsey joined Dynamic Strides Therapy in May of 2022. She was adopted and raised in Sitka, Alaska for several years and then moved to the midwest while still in school. After graduating in 2007, Kelsey spent several months in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe working at an orphanage that specialized in taking in children with AIDS and several other illnesses. Coming back to the U.S. was a huge eye opener for her. She knew that she wanted to spend her life helping others in any way possible.

She spent years providing care for children and adults at Arc of the Ozarks and Burrell. Taking a step back from direct patient care, she joined the pharmacy team at Burrell for several years, learning about medications and how they can be used to benefit patients with disabilities. Kelsey then decided to make a change from pharmacy and took a job in the Allergy Clinic at Cox. She especially enjoyed learning about immunology and different allergies that children and adults are born with or develop over time. Needing a change during the pandemic, she took a leap of faith and obtained her license in Health and Life Insurance. She worked at an office helping Medicare-aged individuals before she realized her heart resides working with children. Kelsey took the job with Dynamic Strides Therapy this year and enjoys getting to know our kiddos and bonding with our parents.

Kelsey resides in Springfield with her three dogs, Ozzy Pawsborne, Sunshine, and River. In her free time, she enjoys gardening in her backyard, watching anything Star Wars, being in water of any kind, and spending time with her family and friends. She looks forward to traveling later in life, continuing to learn, and helping others.
