Kaylee SissonSpeech-Language Pathologist
Kaylee started at DST in August 2022. She grew up in Springfield, Missouri and attended Truman State University for both her Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Communication Disorders. Kaylee also has a minor in Disability Studies. During her undergraduate time at Truman State, Kaylee swam all four years on the TSU swim team. In 2020, she achieved an All American title from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America. Kaylee grew up teaching private swim lessons and coaching summer league swimming.
During her Masters program, Kaylee conducted research over the cycles approach, an intervention method for treating children with severe speech sound disorders. She also takes special interest in language disorders, feeding, and swallowing therapy.
Kaylee enjoys working out, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with her friends and family. Kaylee loves the creativity and joy that working in pediatrics brings. She is excited to join the DST team and continue to make a difference in facilitating better communication for the children of our community.
