Sometimes kids need someone to walk alongside them, to give special attention and care, to help them make positive strides in school, at home, and in life.
Dynamic Strides Therapy (DST) is an outpatient pediatric therapy facility in Southwest Missouri, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving kids from birth through 21 years. DST is the one place where children with special needs can experience the therapeutic benefits of equine movement, a unique sensory gym, and the compassionate support of skilled, certified therapists.

How It All Began
Dynamic Strides was founded in 2016 as a place where hands-on care can improve quality of life for kids as they grow. Dynamic Strides Therapy (DST) obtained nonprofit status in 2017 and launched operations in 2018, with an indoor arena where therapy can happen year-round, no matter the weather.
We continue to grow as an organization to this day, with the lasting mission to enrich the lives of children and families we serve by providing access to therapy, facilities, and staff that meet individual needs and improve quality of life.
Our Facility
Located on 80 acres in Republic, Missouri, our nearly 24,000 square foot facility houses a climate-controlled indoor arena, a therapy clinic with private treatment rooms, a viewing room for parents and a sensory gym. We’re proud to be the only resource of this kind in Southwest Missouri.
Family Areas
Our spacious clinic provides a fun, engaging environment for therapy sessions. One unique feature is the viewing/waiting area situated between the arena and therapy clinic, providing parents with a comfortable setting to watch their children’s progress.
Sensory Gym
Our fully-equipped sensory gym is designed to enhance therapy and provide children of all abilities with a space to explore safe sensory play. Equipment includes various types of swings, a rock wall, large ball pit, zip line, climbing equipment and an infant play area.
Indoor Arena
Starting at the west end of the building, we have seven stalls where the horses are groomed and prepped for hippotherapy sessions. Our indoor arena allows us to treat children year-round using hippotherapy techniques. Large windows provide natural light as well as air-flow throughout the arena. Strategically placed video cameras allow the patient’s therapist to document and monitor progress throughout the course of treatment.
Our Events
