Jess always knew she wanted to work with children, she just didn’t know what her true calling was. After switching her major from physical therapy to education, she decided to combine the two and pursue a career in speech-language pathology. She earned both her Bachelor of Health Science degree in Communication Science and Disorders and her Master of Health Science degree in Communication Science and Disorders at the University of Missouri. Following graduation in 2015, she accepted her first job at an outpatient therapy clinic in Nixa, Mo. Jess has been seeing pediatric patients in an outpatient setting for the past two and a half years, and she can’t imagine herself anywhere else. In her free time, she enjoys outings with her husband, hanging with her family, and cheering on her Mizzou Tigers!
