Brenda was introduced to Equine Assisted Therapy in the spring of 2010. She was amazed at the progress the children were making while receiving therapy on a horse. Some were starting to take their first steps, while others were able to recognize their colors and ABC’s. Brenda knew then that this was the type of therapy with which she wanted to be involved.
Brenda was born in Kansas City, Missouri and lived in Raytown, Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education in August of 1982 from Northwest Missouri State University. She was introduced to physical therapy after being injured playing competitive softball. Brenda went back to school at Penn Valley Community College and received an Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May of 1989.
Brenda currently resides in Rogersville, Missouri with her wonderful husband of 32 years, Randy, on their 7.5 acre “Funny Farm” (their pets have special needs). Randy and Brenda enjoy spending time with their family which consists of four sons, two daughters-in-law, and seven precious grandchildren.
